On June 25, 26 and 27, EiMa Creació is promoting the seminar What are we talking about when we talk about the body? in Palma, a proposal dedicated to exploring contemporary narratives in the performing arts through practice, reflection and the exchange of experiences.
The seminar was born with the desire to open a meeting space for artists, students, performing arts professionals and people interested in the processes of contemporary creation. Over three days, the sessions will address different ways of thinking about the body as a place of production of meaning, memory, experience and imagination.
On June 25 and 26, from 6 to 8 p.m., the La Impossible space will host Frictions: laboratory of contemporary dramaturgies, a proposal led by Patricio Suárez that will combine practical tools and critical reflection to investigate the dramaturgical forms present in today’s performing arts.
The program will continue on June 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at ESADIB, with the masterclass Dramaturgies of Silence, taught by Roberto Fratini, one of the most prominent figures in the field of theory and dramaturgy of contemporary dance. The session will delve into the relationships between body, absence, language and the construction of meaning within the scenic processes.
This activity is part of the EiMa 2026 Festival’s thinking and training program, reinforcing the project’s desire to generate meeting spaces between artistic creation, research and community.
Places are limited and registrations are now open. More information:
