Que en mí no quede cosa extranjera

WITH Paula Araya
From March 11 to 25.

A multidisciplinary device that brings together the author’s artistic practice and her experience as a migrant body in Menorca, articulated through an installative-performative exhibition.

The installation organizes three archives —Genealogía In Situ, Pala Abrir, and Con las Cosas— developed between 2019 and 2025. Each brings together different languages and textures—audio, video, photographs, letters, and performative actions—to compose an intimate odyssey that addresses migration, fragmented identity, and the ongoing encounter with foreignness, both physical and emotional.

The work underscores the universal dimension of migration and the experience of otherness. Drawing on testimonial materials that explore our ideas of home, the creator authorizes herself to share the personal and invites us to recognize in these narratives our own journeys, resonating with desire, loss, and the persistent search for a place to call home.
