Laura Cardona, born in 1993 in Palma de Mallorca, began her studies in classical and then contemporary dance at the age of 14.
In 2011 she took part in the production 'Violeta' by Ramón Oller with the company Puntiapart Dansateatre. In 2012 she began her studies at the Alicia Alonso Conservatory of Dance, Madrid. In 2013 she continued her studies at the Institut del Teatre, Barcelona.
In 2014 she won the first individual and group prize for contemporary dance at the Certamen coreográfico de Sant Boi in Barcelona . In 2014 and 2015 she was part of the 'Modem Atelier' formation of the Zappalà danza company, based in Sicily, Italy.
In 2016 and 2017 she joined Laboratorio 180º as a dancer, taking part in the choreographic pieces of: Itsaso Alvarez Cano, Poliana Lima, Jordi Vilaseca, Francisco Lorenzo, Camen Fumero and Miguel Zomas, Victoria Miranda, Fabián Thomé, Luisa María and Sara Sanz.
In 2017 she took part in the piece 'Materia' with the company Zuk Dance Performing Arts in Madrid, she also co-created 'Y...¿Ser?' with Elena Susilla, Ada Continente and Cesar Ferrio which premiered in Galicia. In 2018 she performed in 'La mirada reversible' and 'Introspección y fuga', performances by Amaya Galeote in Madrid. In 2019-2020 she danced 'YÖY' and 'Humos' in Fabián Thomé's company Full Time Company. In 2020 until 2023 he is part of the production 'Las cosas se mueven pero no dicen nada' by Poliana Lima, performing throughout Europe. In 2021 she is the choreography assistant in 'Las cosas en la distancia' in Cáceres, and also creates 'Collpse' at the Futur Lab Young Europe, Cologne. In 2023 she danced 'Superfrau' with CIA Baal and creates the piece 'Desconstrucció' which premieres in Mallorca.
