On 5 and 6 September, EiMa Creació hosted a gathering of young artists featuring Àlex Fuster, Carla Piris, Mariona Jaume and Maya Triay.
Over two days, the four artists shared methodologies, concerns and different ways of approaching contemporary artistic creation, creating a space for exchange, experimentation and collective reflection on their creative processes.
The gathering was structured around four sessions, each led by one of the participants, who shared her artistic practice through conversations, exercises and movement-based proposals. During each session, the other artists took on different roles —documenter, co-imaginer and questioner— to broaden perspectives on the work presented and create a shared archive of the experience.
The practices explored themes such as the relationship between words and the body, artistic creation in public spaces, drag and queer identities, as well as the transmission and transformation of movement between different bodies.
Beyond the final outcomes, the gathering highlighted the value of sharing creative processes, asking questions and discovering new tools to continue exploring through artistic practice.
