Los Muchísimos. Je m’appelle Jordi

WITH Cia. Mariantònia Oliver
2025

Los muchísimos. Je m’appelle Jordi is the new choreographic project by Cia. Mariantònia Oliver, an artistic research on contemporary masculinity. The piece brings together six men from different generations—some without previous dance experience—in a collaborative creative process that questions socially rooted gender stereotypes. Through an emotional and narrative collage structure, the work explores strength, vulnerability, resistance and tenderness as possible dimensions of male identity. The resulting choreography challenges traditional stage conventions and invites audiences to engage in a critical yet empathetic reflection on gender constructions, ageing and the ways masculinity is embodied on stage.
