{"id":5290,"date":"2026-04-27T14:11:09","date_gmt":"2026-04-27T12:11:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eimacreacio.com\/resolution-of-the-2026-international-residencies-call-iberescena\/"},"modified":"2026-04-27T14:18:36","modified_gmt":"2026-04-27T12:18:36","slug":"resolution-of-the-2026-international-residencies-call-iberescena","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eimacreacio.com\/en\/resolution-of-the-2026-international-residencies-call-iberescena\/","title":{"rendered":"Resolution of the 2026 International Residencies Call \u2013 IBERESCENA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>EiMa Creaci\u00f3 announces the selected projects for the 2026 International Residencies Call, developed within the framework of the IBERESCENA programme, which aims to foster contemporary performing arts creation and exchange among artists from the Ibero-American region.<\/p>\n\n<p>Following the closing of the call on March 15, and after an evaluation process of the 128 submitted projects\u2014focused on artistic quality, innovation, relationship with the territory, and gender perspective\u2014two projects in the creation phase have been selected to take part in EiMa\u2019s residency programme during July 2026.<\/p>\n\n<p><p>Selected projects<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p><p><strong data-start=\"725\" data-end=\"779\">Otra Primavera \u2014 Alan Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez &amp; Merce Matus (Chile)<\/strong><br data-start=\"779\" data-end=\"782\"\/><em data-start=\"782\" data-end=\"798\">Otra Primavera<\/em> proposes a stage-based research project that critically revisits <em data-start=\"864\" data-end=\"884\">The Rite of Spring<\/em>, shifting its narrative towards a contemporary perspective situated at the margins. Through the body and performance, the piece explores issues such as otherness, dissident identities, structural violence, and the relationship with the environment, offering a reinterpretation from queer, ecological, and political perspectives.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p>The residency at EiMa is conceived as a space to deepen the work\u2019s physical dramaturgy, consolidate its research, and generate connections with the territory and other artists, with a view to its future production and international circulation.<\/p>\n\n<p><p><strong data-start=\"1461\" data-end=\"1512\">Mover las cosas \u2014 Johanna Borchardt (Argentina)<\/strong><br data-start=\"1512\" data-end=\"1515\"\/><em data-start=\"1515\" data-end=\"1532\">Mover las cosas<\/em> is a performative and video-installation project that investigates the relationship between the body and everyday objects through repetition and estrangement.
