The heat is starting and we’re going out to enjoy the fresh air!<\/strong><\/p>\n

We continue to welcome the artists who visit us and with the help of our community we are building the tenth edition of our Festival.<\/p>\n

EiMa Festival celebrates 10 years<\/strong> . A decade of sharing and <\/strong>supporting the contemporary creation of Balearic artists and promoting exchanges with other national and international territories. <\/p>\n

From July 21 to August 8<\/strong> , Maria de la Salut will once again be transformed into a meeting space between artists, the neighborhood, emerging creators and performing arts professionals.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Training and creative exchange<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The festival will begin with the Dramaturgy Workshop<\/strong> (July 21\u201324), led by Greek artist Rodia Vomvolou<\/strong> , a proposal aimed at stage creators interested in writing and movement in context.<\/p>\n

In addition, throughout the festival, different workshops<\/strong> will be held to complement the shows, aimed at the general public, artists and local groups. These workshops will offer a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the artistic practices presented and generate spaces for participation and collective creation.<\/p>\n

Professional conferences<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

During the Festival, EiMa will host several activities that promote dialogue between art, territory and community:<\/p>\n

Meeting of Festivals in the Rural Environment<\/strong><\/p>\n

Experiences of artists in residence at EiMa 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meeting on the concept of Heritage<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meeting of farmers and artists<\/strong><\/p>\n

These conferences seek to highlight the cultural practices that emerge in non-urban environments and foster alliances between similar projects.<\/p>\n

Shows in unique spaces<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

On August 7th and 8th<\/strong> , the festival will feature a program of music, dance, performance and live arts shows<\/strong> , which will take place in different spaces of Maria de la Salut.<\/p>\n

The selection of artists and proposals will be announced soon and maintains the commitment to contemporary creation, scenic risk and the relationship with the environment.<\/p>\n

Come experience EiMa 2025!<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

EiMa is much more than a festival: it is a way of doing, thinking and inhabiting art from the context.<\/p>\n
